The number of homes in escrow (pendings) in Oxnard for January and February of this year is holding steady but compared to this time in ’09 – there is markedly less. Data is taken from the Oxnard MLS.

There is a marked increase in Camarillo homes that have gone into escrow (pendings) since January and remain strong compared to this time in ’09 and ’08. Data is taken from the Camarillo MLS.

According to the Ventura MLS data, the number of homes in escrow (pending) for January 2010, is similar to January ’07 and ’09, but with ’08 dipping downward.

There is a downward trend in the number of homes in escrow (pending) from last Fall and by almost 50% from January ’09.

This is the start of the new year, but according to data from the Camarillo MLS, the number of homes that are in escrow (pending) is down a bit in January from December and January ’09.

Ventura’s numbers of homes pending (in escrow) have increased for December and have held rather steady each quarter for 2009.

Oxnard’s homes for sale that are pending (in escrow) are down for this last quarter at 461 homes compared to the first quarter of 648 homes.

Camarillo’s number of single family homes and condos that are pending (in escrow) are down for the month of December and the 4th quarter, yet stronger than for 2008.
